CTA Digital and @GameMarketing Partner on E3 Twitter Event

CTA Digital, a leader in innovative accessories for digital entertainment, and I will co-host a first-ever Networking Tweet-up at E3. This unique endeavor will include prize drawings, game demos, pro gamer guest appearances, and an interactive networking opportunity for game industry pros (see bottom of article for details on how I will make courtesy business intros for you)…all headquartered at the CTA Digital vendor booth. Here are the details:

Event: Wednesday, June 16th 1-4 pm PST
CTA Digital E3 Booth: #4500 West, LA Convention Center

--Visits by Pro Gamers: Rob Paz (Prodigy)World Record Holder for Rock Band 2 and recently featured elite gamer on XBox Live Dashboard. Ciji Thornton (Starslay3r) has amassed a total of over 30 top 5 finishes in 9 games in 3 genres. She ranked 7th in the Pan American region of the world for Guitar Hero: World Tour in the 2009 WCG Pan American Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico and also claimed 1st place for Rock Band 2 at the 2009 Pan American Championships.

--Mid-way of the Tweet-up, you can run into Random aka "Mega Ran" - Capcom's own musical golden boy at the CTA Digital Booth. Random’s newest album, Forever Famicom, explores games from the NES to Super NES, infusing these 8 and 16-bit tunes with some new age lyrics and continuing to make waves in the music and gaming industries.

Analog Hype will be at the booth grabbing a few minutes with Random. You are invited to join the fun.

--On site promotional support provided by Ryan Thompson (Gaming PR/Marketing pro) and SFX-360.com, producers of the now "infamous" Gamers Gone Wild events.

--During event: Hot new racing accessory demonstrated by 8 yr-old Kids Are Heroes own Ricky Springer, founder of Racing for a Cause.

--Prize giveaways throughout event. Register at the booth by checking in and grabbing your Twitter tag. We'll be flashing event activity info on a large screen and tweeting random Tweep checkins throughout the event.

--Demo your favorite new gaming accessory at the CTA Digital booth for a bit of "personal gaming fun."

And...if you are at E3 on business, here's the best news of all...

Your own professional networker (moi) is "crafting" business introductions throughout the Tweet up. You can walk up at the Tweet up and place your "order" or you can place that order in advance and pick up your connection/introduction directly from @gamemarketing (Mary Kurek) at the Tweet up. Either case, few rules apply - see instructions below.

The best part of E3 - besides the fun - will be the connections you make. It's my aim, during this tweet up, to help you make this the most amazing networking event you've ever attended.

Rules:

1) Must be a Twitter follower of @CTADigital and @gamemarketing

2) One request per person/company for a particular type of person you would like to meet at E3 - examples: other Tweeps that you know are there but haven't met, game industry talent, specific types of publishers/developers, marketing firms, business consultants, distributors, pro gamers, media, and potential collaborators. (Important note: The right is reserved to disregard any requests considered "outrageous" or those that may conflict with existing Mary Kurek, Inc. clients. In the case of conflict, you may be asked to change your networking request.)

3) First come/first served as is possible. No guarantees are made.

4) Advance requests must be e-mailed by 5 pm EST June 10th and include every item below:

a) Name
b) Name of Company or who person is representing
c) Twitter name
d) Request for type of connection to be made
e) Your Linkedin profile link, if you have one. If you don't, I highly recommend putting one up.
f) Commitment to check in at Tweet up between 1-4 pm June 16th
g) E-mail address.
h) Whether or not you will be able to check your e-mail and/or your Twitter stream during the event.
